Mental health care that actually feels human.
Thoughtful psychiatric medication management for children, adolescents, and adults — in our Baltimore office or by secure video, anywhere in Maryland.
Care that begins with listening — and continues long after the prescription pad.
Zach Schnitzer is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner serving children, adolescents, and adults across Maryland. After years as a registered nurse — across inpatient, outpatient, and home care — he saw firsthand how often mental health needs were left at the edges of conventional medicine. He pursued PMHNP training to change that.
His practice is built on collaboration and patient autonomy. Treatment plans are made with patients, not handed to them. He treats anxiety disorders, mood disorders, and ADHD — combining evidence-based medication management with therapeutic guidance and a nonjudgmental ear.
Outside the office, Zach is a husband and father of four. He plays sports, loses cheerfully at board games, cooks, and travels whenever the schedule allows.
